Getting My Geek Groove Back

Hello everyone! ^_^

Long before my own blogs I used to have a "little" blog called "TechMusicGospel" over at Vox.com (you are missed) where I would share links in regards tech stories I came across, new and seasoned musicians I enjoyed and great devotional and links to messages I heard that day. Over the years I let myself drift from that format and in the end I'm upset with myself for allowing this to happen.

Well as of now I am getting back to that format because for me that is where I found my greatest joy: discovering and sharing valuable information with the masses. Some people have certain gifts and I believe this is what God has blessed me with because as Dr. Charles Stanley says, "Are you a 'reservoir' or a 'channel'. I have allowed myself to become a consumer, constantly checking my twitter and facebook account on the minute every minute and not creating and sharing so in the next couple of weeks I will be revamping my "TechMusicGospel" site.
I will have a tab for you to check out the latest tech news stories I come across, tips for tech and life in general, information on artists I have followed over the years, great devotional teachers that I have come to listen to over time like Tony Evans, Dr. Charles Stanley, Greg Laurie, James MacDonald, David Jeremiah, Chuck Swindoll, Adrian Rogers and so many others. As well as I will have a slew of links to some of my favorite photographers.

Of course I will still produce music podcasts but when time permits and in regards to being on Facebook and Twitter I will most likely cut back on conversing on those platforms because to be honest Twitter is really about posting links and sharing as well as Facebook and time and time again I find myself using those platforms as if they were IM platforms and they're really not. I'm not knocking Facebook and Twitter but for me I have to force myself to put these tools in perspective.

I can't wait to revive my ol' site and begin sharing with the masses. Right now you are seeing links show up from my Amplify site, "TheologyNTechnology{Amplify}"[ http://theologyandtechnology.amplify.com/ ] in regards to articles I find very interesting and again one TechMusicGospel is up and running there will be a tab click on when it comes to checking out the things that I feel are important to share with you. :-) I love Amplify and I have been a user of this blogging platform for a while. This way it gives me a chance to to not only link stories but provide my insight on my feelings on a certain topic as well. Big thanks to Eric Goldstein[ http://egoldstein.amplify.com/ ] and his team for creating this wonderful blogging platform.

I feel like I'm getting my "geek groove" back so I look forward to letting you know when my TMG site is back up in full swing.

Be Blessed, Be Safe,
and have a Wonderful Wednesday! :-)
